If you are accessing these resources off-campus, you will need to log in with your Harper student portal username and password. Locating Audio and Video Materials in the Library

Follow the directions below to locate video resources found in the library's catalog.  The location will be listed in the catalog search results page below the title and labeled "Location".

  • Location: Media These are CDs, Vinyl LPs, Audiocassettes, DVDs or VHS tapes.  Make note of the DVD or VHS title and call number and bring this information to the circulation desk on the first floor of the library.  One of our library staff will pull the material for you.
  • Location: Media Browsing These are our most popular CDs, Vinyl LPs, Audiocassettes, DVDs or VHS tapes and can be found in the media browsing shelves on the first floor of the library.  Make note of the resource's title and call number so you can locate the item in the media browsing shelves which are organized by call number.  Bring the item to the circulation desk if you would like to check it out.
  • Location: Audiobook Audiobooks can be found on the second floor of the library near the Information Desk and/or the main second floor entrance.  Make note of the resource's title and call number so you can locate the item in the audiobook shelves which are organized by call number.  Bring the item to the circulation desk if you would like to check it out.
  • Location: Online These videos and audio files are available instantly online both on and off campus.  Click the title to open the full record.  At the bottom of the record page, you will see a URL under either "Online Access" or "Related Information".  This URL will link directly to the video or audio file.  If you are off-campus, you will be prompted to login with your Harper student portal username and password.
