Age-Related Resources: Electronic Books

This guide is a compilation of audiovisual, print, electronic and online materials about the topic of age that are available at the Harper College Library. Also included in this guide are links to the library's subscription databases that are most useful.

Ebrary--electronic books

 

The electronic books in ebrary are available for online use only. Books may be accessed through the ebrary link or through the library catalog.  For maximum use, create your own personal account in ebrary to take advantage of features such as personal bookshelf, highlighting, notes, and printing.

You will be required to sign on if accessing the database from off campus.  Your user name and password are the same as your Student Portal user name and password.

ebrary books are available off-campus only to Harper College students and employees.

 

eBrary e-books

The following are a sampling of electronic books available on age-related topics. For a more complete listing conduct a search of your own in the library catalog or on the Ebrary database. Search suggestions are available on the "Searching" tab on this subject guide.

Credo Reference

Credo Reference is a great place to start your research. You can use Credo Reference to find information on a variety of topics in encyclopedias, dictionaries, almanacs, and other reference books.

Search Google Books

Also try a search of Google books for additional titles.
