What are Library Databases?

Search for Articles

The field of Criminal Justice combines elements of sociology, psychology, gender and sexuality studies and many other topics.  Try one of our multi-disciplinary databases to search journals in a wide area of topics.

Too many results?

Limit your search to full text on the left-hand side of the results page for instant access. You can also limit to peer-reviewed which will display only those articles that have been appraised and approved by experts in the field.  Add additional search terms to further narrow your topic such as specific populations (men, women, elderly, adolescents, etc.) or factors (stress, trauma, smoking, weather, etc.).

Too few results?

You may want to broaden your search topic by focusing on one subject at a time.  You could also try using synonyms for your search terms.  Or try one of the strategies below!
