This guide will be useful for students in the Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising programs.

The Library Catalog and OneSearch

The Library is now offering curbside pickup of library books and videos. For more information on how to request and pick up library materials consult this page.

The Library catalog is used to search for books, ebooks, and videos.  The Harper Catalog is more than just a catalog, it is a discovery service, meaning it can be used to search through the Library collection but also most of our databases.  This service is called OneSearch.

OneSearch can be used to search Books and videos in the college collection, Library materials in the 90 libraries in I-Share system, Course reserves, Magazine and journal articles or all of these at the same time.

OneSearch Tip

OneSearch works best when you log in. Logging in enables you to search all of the databases and retrieve results. You can also request materials from Harper and other libraries. You can create favorites lists, view your library account, and renew materials. Log in with your portal name and password.
