Library and Information Literacy Instruction

Guide to library and information literacy instruction offerings from the Harper College Library, including online learning materials and options for working with a librarian.

Library Instruction Options

The Harper College Library offers a variety of instructional options to meet the needs of faculty and the goals and learning outcomes of your course and activities.

If you want help selecting your options, skip ahead to fill out our Instructional Request Form and a librarian can help.

If you want to explore on your own first, we suggest using online learning materials as a base, and then building on that with either student research appointments or whole-class instruction with a librarian. Use the page's navigation panel to explore our services and find the combination that best meets your needs.

To learn more about the mission and goals of our instruction program, see the Library Instruction section of our website.
